HE RESTORETH MY SOUL

Almost everyone has read Psalm 23, and many have had it memorized from a child:
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

THE SEED KNOWS WHAT TO DO

If you’ve ever done any gardening, you know seeds always reproduce after their own kind.  If you want to grow carrots, you must plant carrot seeds.  I’ve yet to plant carrot seeds and have a tomato crop come up instead; seeds just don’t work that way.  If you plant it in the ground and give it water and light, you don’t have to stand there and tell it what to do.  The seed knows what to do, for what it was created to bring forth is already programmed on the inside of it.  Continue Reading »
